Mission Statement

The motto of P.S./I.S. 229K is "Home, School, Community.” These three supports are the necessary elements to educate all children academically, socially, and emotionally. We are creating a community of caring, technologically sophisticated, self-directed, lifelong learners through content-rich curriculum, next generation standards-driven instruction and active parent involvement. We are committed to having all of our children meet standards of excellence and become productive citizens of the 21st century.
